Update- change to Worship Schedule

Dear Friends in Christ,

We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. Hebrews 6:19

These are very fluid and challenging times to follow Jesus. But we have the promise of Christ’s presence and the sure hope of everlasting life. It is the gospel that sustains us in times of trial.  Jesus Christ and his love for us are the same, yesterday, today, and tomorrow. We want to respond to the current pandemic with faith in Christ, using the reason that God has given us.

After discussion with our leadership, Zion will make the following changes.

This Sunday, we will post an abbreviated worship service on our website.

Sunday worship services at 8 and 10:30 are cancelled until further notice. We will offer brief communion services on Sunday morning for those who would like to attend. Observing the governmental mandate, these services will be restricted to no more than ten people. We will offer them at 8:00, 8:30, 9:00, 9:30, 10:00 and 10:30. Please attend if you would like to receive the sacrament. Please do not attend if you are in the high risk category, feeling ill, or in a household with someone who is high risk or feeling ill. You may also request private communion from Pastor at another time. No decision has been made at this time about our Wednesday services. We will communicate when we have more information.

Please feel free to call pastor if you would like more information or to pray. Continue to pray for your neighbors and seek opportunities to be a blessing to them. In this way, we share the hope that we have because of Jesus.

In Him,

Pastor Mark
